Fall Season '05, Game 2: 1-2 (Loss)

Another tough loss for the 'Commies tonight, losing to the Kickball Wizards.

An early run was scored in part by Scott, who rounds the bases like greased lightning. Our 1-0 lead was held until the 7th inning, at which time the Wizards exploited a hole in the infield for a run, which later turned into two.

However, one point of contention came from the Kickball Wizards' pitcher. His strategy of a high bouncing ball over the plate produced very few productive runs, and a couple of Entercommies injuries. This dirty pool went unnoticed by the umpire, however, much to the 'Commies chagrin.

Other highlights, however, go to Victor's pitching, and some great outfield catches by Jeff, Ethan, and Troy. Next game's forecast calls for strong defense, with a light sprinkling of atomic blasts.

Standings as of 9/1: 7th out of 8
